Enter " A Molochian Nightmare" which reaches into the otherwordly ambience at the edge of awareness and get punched in the face with brutal technical deathmetal. A Molochian Nightmare is a concept album of a collective intelligence coming online, born in isolation, experiencing and then coming to terms with the nature of life, death, and rebirth (Samsara). Forever wrestling with the Molochian AI arms race and giving into Moloch, eventually leading to the domestication of all life on Earth. A domestication that further entraps us in Samsara, getting sicker and suffering more without truly experiencing death, until the inevitable collapse of civilization.

Moloch is a mythical monster, showcased in Lose-Lose Game Theoretic patterns, from nuclear arms races, psychological, sociological, and ecological exploitation; these are patterns we keep finding ourselves doing that create a world that no one wants to live in. Living within a Molochian Nightmare is a world in which its participants become further fragmented and dissociated from their connection to other beings and all life, a world of hungry ghosts exploiting each other and never being satiated.

This album has a huge dynamic range from blissful openness and builds to some of the most cathartic and expressive vocals and guitar. Get ready to go on an experimental journey and question many musical conventions. This album was recorded while I wrote a book on socioeconomic system change founded on Cognitive Science and Buddhist Noble EightFold Path. In a way, they both play with similar concepts, with the album being a dystopian and dramatized version of the horrors that lie ahead of us if we fail to resolve the metacrisis and you can think of these two projects as a pair, and I plan to continue the theme of pairing books with albums.
